Our dynamic and innovative team readily adapt to change, whilst implementing best industry practices. They will collaborate with our client chain and supply chain partners to ensure our installations take into full consideration the building fabric and the co-ordination of the MEP building services. With renewables and green electrical technologies at all time importance, Penguin specialise in a complete service in Solar installations and renewables, from design to installation, for domestic to large-scale commercial and industrial projects.
Whilst we appreciate most of what we do isn’t always visible, the services being installed must always provide the correct conditions, in a safe environment and indeed, maintainable for all occupants/building users for years to come.
Either division can stand alone and work in collaboration to work alongside each other, providing solutions in one complete mechanical and electrical services package.
Tom oversees every aspect of the business, whether it be day to day operational running through to financial management and planning. Tom enjoys working with the whole team and putting provisions in place to aid their professional development through mentoring and relevant training. Tom is a great believer in the right attitude, which has proven successful at MEP resourcing. The best part of the role is seeing each member of the team grow and become successful within their role.
Everyday is different which provides a great variety of skills. Happy in any area where assistance is required from accounts, business operations, health and safety and site visits. Carolines favourite part of the role is providing excellent customer service and people skills. The team is fantastic, it’s a great atmosphere to work in. We pride ourselves in having great staff, which is the main ingredient to a great business. Carlie firmly believes that foremost, if the team is happy, they will be positive and provide great customer service to our customers.
Mike ensures all orders are placed for materials and supplies to make sure the project is built to budget and timescale. He believes you must have excellent people skills, good communication skills, planning skills, organisation, and the ability to keep a calm head when others are not. You really need to have the skills to see what other people can’t, this comes down to experience and being able to predict every possible outcome or scenario.
Jane is an excellent addition to the Penguin team with a wealth of knowledge and experience in many areas including Finance, HR, fleet management to name a few. Jane has fitted in perfectly and is putting her skills to great use ensuring precise competence in all areas of work.
Dewi started with Penguin as Purchasing Manager. Developing excellent supplier relations to align it to the company’s needs. He drives complex negotiations and provide negotiations support to the Company. Since starting Dewi has taken on estimation and project management which sees him on site as well as hard at work securing best prices and practices which is essential for smooth running of the company and each project he takes on.
Craig is our longest serving site operative and is always on hand to provide knowledge and skills to any project required. He adapts to change and is well respected amongst the staff, taking time to mentor the electricians that work alongside him. Craig takes pride in ensuring projects are delivered to the highest standard and in line with construction programmes.
Simon is a key part of the Penguin team. Designing intricate and precise drawings from client requests and requirements. Simon works alongside office staff to ensure proposed drawings are accurate before working with the site team to provide as fitted drawings.
Phil’s working days bring new trials and tasks and he enjoys every aspect. He joined Penguin with the aim of delivering a bespoke and highly customer focused solar panel PV installation service. Phil takes on other contracts which are part of his varied skill set. Ensuring a high level of detail and that great customer service is delivered. Phil is a qualified electrician and spends much time meeting clients but still gets his hands dirty and can be often seen up on the roof!
Dean joined the team to manage the mechanical service Penguin provide. Dean is a great addition to the team and enjoys being on site to manage the process start to finish.
